What size are these EV plates, and will they fit my vehicle?

It is the standard UK size, 520mm × 111mm (20.5" × 4.4"), which fits the oblong front and rear recesses on most UK cars and vans. If your car has a square, import-style or model-specific recess, choose that size instead. Ideal for: Tesla, Porsche Taycan, Audi e-tron, BMW i4, and all pure electric vehicles.

How durable is the EV finish in UK weather?

Official UK EV green identifier strip with laser-cut raised characters. The raised characters are 5mm laser-cut cast PMMA acrylic, bonded to a high-impact acrylic plate with automotive-grade adhesive. They are UV and weather resistant and will not fade or lift, backed by our 3-year warranty.

Is this EV plate UK road legal (BS AU 145e)?

Yes, for zero-emission vehicles only. The green flash may only be shown on pure battery-electric or hydrogen vehicles — not hybrids or plug-in hybrids. The plate is made to BS AU 145e by Enhanced Plates, a DVLA-registered number plate supplier (RNPS 84920), with the Charles Wright font and legal spacing.

How do I fit these EV plates, and do I need a fixing kit?

Both plates take about 10 minutes to fit. Clean the old fixing area, then use strong double-sided sticky pads, screws, or both. If you use screws, drill only through the margins or the gaps between raised characters, never through a character. Our Universal Plate Fixing Kit includes sticky pads, screws and caps.

What details or documents do I need to order these plates?

Enter your registration exactly as it appears on your logbook; we set the legal spacing automatically, as DVLA rules do not allow changes. After you order, upload proof of entitlement (V5C logbook, V750 or V778) and photo ID (passport or UK photocard licence) through the secure link we email you. We make your plates once these are approved.
