4D Premium — Smoke Tinted Show & Track Edition

It is the standard UK size, 520mm × 111mm (20.5" × 4.4"), which fits the oblong front and rear recesses on most UK cars and vans. If your car has a square, import-style or model-specific recess, choose that size instead. Ideal for: Car shows, track days, automotive photography, and private display.

Deep smoked acrylic backing with intense high-gloss 4D characters. The raised characters are 3mm smoked laser-cut cast PMMA acrylic, bonded to a high-impact acrylic plate with automotive-grade adhesive. They are UV and weather resistant and will not fade or lift, backed by our 3-year warranty.

No. This is a show and track plate: the smoked dark optical acrylic finish does not meet BS AU 145e, so it must not be used on public roads. For a road-legal version, choose our standard 4D Premium plate.

Both plates take about 10 minutes to fit. Clean the old fixing area, then use strong double-sided sticky pads, screws, or both. If you use screws, drill only through the margins or the gaps between raised characters, never through a character. Our Universal Plate Fixing Kit includes sticky pads, screws and caps.

Enter your registration exactly as it appears on your logbook; we set the legal spacing automatically, as DVLA rules do not allow changes. Show plates are not for road use, so no DVLA documents are needed. For a road-legal version, we would ask for your V5C, V750 or V778 and photo ID before making it.
